This is the project book for this co-teaching program which investigated the idea of "place and space" as well as acknowledging the unspoken power of maps and map making at East Los Angeles Renaissance Academy. Featured here are some of the spreads within the book, highlighting the landscape page orientation reminiscent of a Thomas Guide, visually there was a heavy use of off-white with solid pages of color that defined sections in the book. The framing styled layout presented a grid that set the pace and tone of the project while providing visual cohesion.
